VBWS is assisting a mission-driven nonprofit organization in Washington, DC in their search for a dedicated and highly organized Executive Assistant. This is a full-time on-site position offering an exciting opportunity to support executive leadership and play an essential role in advancing the organization’s impactful initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
•Provide direct administrative support to the Executive Director and senior leadership team.
•Manage calendars, schedule meetings, coordinate travel, and handle various correspondence.
•Prepare reports, presentations, and meeting materials with accuracy and professionalism.
•Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive organizational and personnel matters.
•Act as a liaison between executive leadership, staff, and external stakeholders.
•Support board meetings, including scheduling, preparing agendas, and taking minutes.
Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, or related field.
•3–5 years of proven experience as an Executive Assistant or in a similar administrative role.
•Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
•Strong written and verbal communication skills.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
•Ability to manage multiple calendars and host virtual meetings.
