VBWS is partnering with an established nonprofit organization in Washington, DC to identify a creative and results-oriented Social Media & Marketing Manager. This onsite role is perfect for a marketing professional who thrives on storytelling, digital engagement, and building brand awareness for a mission-driven organization.


Key Responsibilities:

•Develop and implement a comprehensive social media and digital marketing strategy.

•Manage content creation across platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, and YouTube.

•Oversee the design and distribution of newsletters, campaigns, and promotional materials.

•Monitor analytics to evaluate campaign effectiveness and adjust strategies accordingly.

•Collaborate with program teams to amplify organizational initiatives and community impact.

•Ensure brand consistency across all communication channels.

•Build and maintain relationships with media outlets and partners.

Qualifications:

•Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.

•3+ years of professional experience in marketing, communications, or social media management in a supervisory role.

•Demonstrated success in growing engagement and reach through social media platforms.

•Strong skills in content creation, copywriting, and graphic design.

•Video editing experience is required for this role.

•Experience with tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Asana, and/or similar platforms.

•Knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics, and online advertising strategies preferred.

•Passion for nonprofit work and the ability to align marketing strategies with organizational goals.
